"This is our first visit but we will return to this lovely hotel located right at the base of Aspen mountain. Customer service is top notch from the guys out front to the concierge service, to the housekeeping staff. We hiked Maroon Bells which was two miles from hotel to bus service up the mountain. Took gondola up to top of mountain and hiked there. The hotel restaurant "element 47" is five star. If the weather is nice, ask to sit outside." great reviews - map

This is another top 10 hotel in Aspen. Beautiful hotel, beautifully decorated, has a fabulous spa. "We stayed here for four nights in Aspen with our 2 year old. The staff and service was impeccable - made us feel like we were the only ones staying in the hotel. In particular, the staff at the restaurant catered to our every need and our daughter was a big fan (Leslie went above and beyond - thank you!). The grounds and rooms have a warm and classy feel and appear to have been recently updated. Western-themed, historic hotel in the heart of Aspen - each room is decorated elegantly to take you back in time. "I stayed here for a total of 14 nights over the past two months, once for the Aspen Ideas Festival and once while I was in town for a convening related to my work. The hotel provides the classic Aspen experience - a friend of mine who has a house in town and is very active in the local community even said to me, 'how did you know that the Jerome is THE place to stay??'
